Brett Bridgman (Teaching Professional)

Brett’s goal is to be recognized in the top 100 golf coaches in the world.
Brett is 23 years old and a “AAA” Australian PGA Member. After completing his traineeship Brett played on the Southern Tour before heading to The United States of America to pursue his passion of teaching at the #1 Golf School in America “The Jim McLean Golf School”.

After extensive study and endless hours around the likes of Jim McLean (world #5 instructor), Bobby Cole (former PGA Tour player) and many other top 50 teachers who currently teach at Jim’s facility in Miami, Florida. Brett is now Australia’s first Jim McLean Certified Instructor.

Brett spent over 12 months learning from the best of the best. During his time there he also was working for Dr Robert Neal (Golf BioDynamics) who is widely recognized as the global leader in 3D technology for the golf swing. Below are just some of Brett’s achievements:

  • Jim McLean Certified Instructor
  • Golf BioDynamics Instructor
  • AAA Australian PGA Professional
  • Lead Instructor for Junior Development at Jim McLean Golf Academy in Miami
  • Worked alongside Jim McLean, Mariano Bartolome (Lead Master Instructor, Doral) and Dr Robert Neal with players such as Andres Romero, Brad Faxon, Carlos Franco and Len Mattiace.
  • Travelled South East Australia conducting seminars with Physios specializing on the golf swing with Biomechanics and 3D measurement for fellow professionals.
  • Director of Golf Riverlakes Golf Club
  • Level One Golf Athlete Certificate

Brett has a systematic approach towards the golf swing whereas most coaches will teach a method. In simple terms a system coach will adapt with what people have (body shapes, individual goals, beliefs etc) to make them better. “There are 150 professionals on the PGA Tour and there are 150 different backswings but only “one impact position”. It is all about consistent impact and solid ball striking.
Golf is life for Brett, who imparts to all his clients a great range of golfing skills, the very latest technologies and an internationally acquired knowledge of the golf swing.

Very result orientated when teaching, however, always believing that fun and enjoyment are vital to total fulfillment from the game.
